You know what a fun combo is? Anomoly (Spells cost -2 each for both players) and going versus a boss with "Sound The Bells" in deck. Unlimited bells, the bastard got 3 20/40's in turn 2 because he felt merciful after using ~60 Sound The Bells.

I hate chapter 3 with a passion. It’s just so polarizing only having space for 4 minions. Really limits tempo deck building and also hurts the value of aoes.

Agreed. And i learned the hard way the enemies must be hard coded to never play sir finley. I sapped one early game and the boss played out literally every other card.

Well yeah its not that fun but the point of it is to be a challange, not to mention you can use this against the AI at times. Such as having perma stealth you leave 4 mediocer minions for your oponent and use heavy hitters for your side. That being said fuck the the big priest -2 attack dude. That shit is the real cancer

Chapter 3 with mage is fairly easy. Just pick the second mage hero power and hope for the buff that reduces its cost and lets you use it twice a round. Then for 0 mana you can lower your cards cost by 4 each turn. Then just go big with Malygos, Antonidas and endless fireballs. You dont need the board space and can deal insane damage each turn. But of course luck is involved regarding the buffs

Galliwix sometimes plays the discard 3 cards when your oponent plays a card minion. I emptied his deck the same turn, then I was just waiting until he died.

Galliwix is a pushover unless you have exactly Robes of Gaudiness, in which case he becomes a real pest as he fills your hand with coins.

First win for me on heroic was reduce card cost by 2 hero power + the ring that makes it cost 1 + beeing able to use it twice a turn. then full legendary/big stuff

I Had that with potion of Vigor, that puts two copies of the minion in your deck. I had 60 card in my deck and 7 ragnaroses on the board.

It's also surprisingly good with Jade glasses in that you can just dump all the cheap cards in your hand and guarantee that your hero power discounts land on the big stuff.

He meant the reward that allows you to hero power twice and for 1 less mana, Stargazing. Not sure why he's calling it a ring, that's the one that gives death knight hero powers. Prince's Ring tends to do that though, you can't really draft your deck around it and a lot of the hero powers need support from the deck to be effective, EG priest, warrior, rogue. Considering some of the other passive treasures and the fact that you're often trading in a hero power that's already superior to the basic one, I'd say the ring is one of the weaker rewards, or at least wildly unreliable.

Just get the discount hero power, and fish for the discount double hero power to win.

The discount hero power is so busted it's good with pretty much anything. Especially since mage has cards like Antonidas and Kalecgos that can just solo certain bosses if you discount them enough.

Saw this on my sub box after winning with mage, the entire deck was "draw frostlich jaina and win the game" with 2 projects, 2 coldlights, tagwagg and everything else was removal/ tempo

Admittedly I've only taken it two or three times - but I've not yet lost with a first up Togwaggle's Dice. Sure, it's possible for them to roll against you, but generally with the tempo boost of getting a 7+ cost minion by about turn 3 or 4 (basically giving it the chance to reroll 2 or 3 times until it lines up) starts you snowballing. It's definitely no Robes of Gaudiness, but it's far from the worst treasure and is definitely one you can win off of.

After 30+ tries, finally won with mage. Had D. Boom’s Remote for board control, then reduced my Swamp Queen’s call to zero cost. Had 3 Khadgars on my deck, and mostly summoner cards. My first treasure is a Book of wonders which is kinda dangerous ( fortunately no Cataclysm came out). Although 3 Darkness transformed from “evolving”. Finished the game in 5 turns. Either way, at least, I finally finished this.

Mage is one of the best classes because the manacost reduction hero power is busted as hell, especially towards the later stages of the dungeon where you should be able to find the time to discount Antonidases and Kalecgoses and do disgusting things with them.

I tried for 5 hours with mage on first win heroic and never got past the fourth boss ,except once where I died to the 7th because its a fucking insane wild big priest. Then I unlocked wing 2 with gold and tried wing 1 heroic with hunter and instantly got through. Mage is so bad in this Edit: The big priest is the one at 12:45

Personally when playing Mage I win 99% of the time If I have the mana discount hero power and pick mana discount treasures (the green googles are broken as fuck, the gaudy robes not so much). Then every single "big" bucket (Legends, spells that summon stuff, big spells, etc...) Mana cheating is probably the most broken thing in general in card games, here you need as much tempo as possible and mana cheating = huge tempo. Or you can plan for the long game with the Quest and lots of control cards but you always run the risk of drawing bad or the opponent pulling some insane RNG on you and so on

I don't understand why trump thinks cloak of invisibility is bad. Does he not realize that the stealth is permanent? Like, "even after you attack, its still untargetable" permanent? It stops like a million removal spells from being usable, it makes aura cards and "per turn" cards that would normally be trash amazing, and it basically guarantees that you'll always get the advantage on trades. I'd say it's one of the best.

If you ever see Togwaggle's Dice, pick it! It's actually a pretty damn good treasure and in my opinion maybe even better than Robes plus Goggles combined. Just load up as many big minions you can get, duplicate them in the tavern and enjoy playing your randomly discounted Ysera or Lich King early on Turn 2 or 3. The more expensive your stuff is, the more likely you will get a favourable discount. Never had an easier HC run.

Its not as consistent as robes, and consitency is important in this mode.. You can just get unlucky and get screwed. Still it is pretty good if your deck is weak and you can load up on good minions.

Yeah, the Dice can screw you sometimes, but so can Robes, Book of Wonders and Wisdomball ("let me cast that again on a RaNdOm target"). Every heroic run has some sort of luck involved anyway. Keeping two 8-drops in your starting hand however will most likely guarantee you to play them before turn 5, maybe even both at once if you're really lucky on the random dice discounts. Meanwhile your hand gets bigger, increasing the odds of getting some decent discounts even more each turn. I for one will gladly pick the dice again over everything else, since for me - despite being rng - it's the most "consistent" treasure to rely on.
