I've seen a 97 OVR, and they lost in the championship game to Oregon, a 89 Ovr, sim be on something.

Sim is so stupid and needs to be fixed, when i was playing with Toledo and won my first Championship with them i lost that year to Miami Ohio at HOME by double digits despite being 9 overalls higher than them because i simmed. Like there’s no way any championship team could lose at home to a MAC team especially and it’s dumb i don’t wanna play the game because it won’t even be a challenge so i just started force winning games because i just lose every time i sim, like i simmed my entire next season i returned all my players and went 4-8 it’s ridiculous

@@Sniper_T_2x When have you ever seen a team of Ohio State, Texas, Alabama, Georgia etc, lose to a machine team at home? even a 10 point win would drive people crazy. upsets happen but not nearly as often as sim makes it.. the better team wins most of the time

I’ve gotten a 98 OVR before and honesty you did all the right stuff, but I’m telling you being in the SEC (atleast for me) helped a lot (I played as Georgia), also you just need luck like the offseason I hit 98 OVR I was coming of two straight seasons without a loss in sim which in its own right is an accomplishment

@5STARGAV man just move people around during postion changes, also (assuming your still using michigans playbook) something that might help is moving linemen to TE for some reason certain linemen go up to 99 OVR if you move em there, scrambling QBs, and WRs also take a HUGE jump if you move em to RB.

Contrary to belief, I actually enjoyed the video, despite the ending. It adds a lot of realism, and the fact that some things just can't/won't happen no matter how well you do. One thing i've noticed with 14 and 25 is that the game is made so you EVENTUALLY will win, it's just a waiting game. This had a real life feeling to it. But at the end of the day, it is a video game. I'm sure it's in the coding. Keep experimenting. GG Tanman!

Yo TanMan. Vid was a banger bro. You got close and I think if you started as a coordinator in Georgia, you could actually reach 99 overall for real. The reason is cause the Georgia CEO has the discount bundle, so you can absolutely maximize your skill point spending. Hell, you could even cruise to 2 nattys and immediately unlock ceo for yourself to get the discount boost for yourself when you do leave Georgia.

@@Jhohn160 No you have to have a minimum number of players on your roster. It wouldn't let me even redshift players for that reason. 72 was the number I believe.

I have been tinkering with the best OVR team build for an experiment like this. I have not watched the vod yet, but I really hope you buy the perk “delay Sunday” and the lower version of that in Program Builder. It’s slightly easier getting a player to 99 ovr if you have them for the full 5 years. Another thing is you need to have motivator nearly maxed out if you wanna see any real progression long term. I look forward to seeing what you do in this video 😂🫡👍

@@TanMan75 I’m not sure if your gonna see this my guy, but I just finished the video and it’s sooo weird you couldn’t get any of your first rounders to stay after you bought CEO Delay Sunday. When I did it for Ohio State I bought that perk along with all the tiers 1-3 for program builder that essentially let me keep the rest of the players. I never had a single offseason where basically an entire class of 93-96 ovr players told me no 🤣. This is something you also don’t wanna hear, but you 100% did waste coaching points and I feel like if you were more efficient you could have definitely got it. Talent developer is good, but you spent way too many coach points on it. Personally when I did mine I bought all the recruiting perks except for kicker n punters. However, to be as efficient as possible I didnt waste points in the tier 4 perk for recruiter. Once you build a juggernaut program you dont really need to increase the initial intense of recruits because your 5 star program does that plenty already. In program builder and CEO I bought the perks that let me retain players, then the rest of my points went into base Tactician, motivator/master motivator. And a few in architect. I don’t recommend buying the later tiers for architect since it’s only a 2% chance to increase a skill cap, but the tier 1 is just a flat XP boost which is good. Another thing is Master Motivaort tier 3 gives you a higher XP multiplier for everything. This includes in game actions, awards, players going pro etc. The issue with Talent Developer is it’s so expensive to get something that gives you less of a reward than Master Motivsotr/ Tier 1 of Architect. Tactician is the sneaky OP perk for Ovr. If all the tactician perks are purchased it will increase your team Ovr by 2 regardless of if you are an 80 Ovr or 96. Lastly, to end this massive essay 🤣, coordinators need to be either architects or master motivators or tacticians. If all of that doesn’t work still than it’s 100% skill caps. Players skill caps are random regardless of star rating. You can have 5 star athletes with like 15 skill caps and 3 star athletes with hardly any it’s all rng. I’m not saying it’s an easy task, but it took me roughly 8 seasons with Ohio State to achieve it. Random factors may vary tho. W content and W content creator tho 😁

If you still have this save file do one year where you don't recruit any players at all and then cut everyone you can and see if that improves things. Depth can hurt your overall rating.

To get 99 overall i believe you must be undeafeated for 3 years in a top conference including the natty for those years and your lowest non freshmen is 90 overall. I believe thats what I've heard.

I’ve gotten a 99 ovr before. I had to sorta break the game and go make guys transfer from their school but I had Travis hunter, Will Johnson, Jalen milroe, Ashton jeanty, Ryan Williams, j smith, cam Coleman, Walter Nolan, Malakai Starks, Caleb downs, Judkins, mykel williams, James Pierce jr and a couple of others I’m forgetting

@@rsrs2780I saw a video on like whether to hard sell or to like send the house you should watch that video. It’s also big to get visits in and win the games and also if they are in your pipeline it’s easier for them to commit to you good luck!

I’ve thought about making a recruiting tutorial video tbh but idk if people would wanna watch that lol. If there was numerous comments in my 5 star video where I tried to sign every one. I’d be willing to make a video on it, but from the comments there seems to be no interest in me making a recruiting tutorial video.
