Earlier in the year, before winter, we had all of our new Fiber Ops lines put in through out county . They used a Machine called a "Ditch Witch" that would drill horizontally and either force the cable fwd and through or pull im not too sure as i didnt stand around all day to find out . More i thought about it the more i want to know Exactly how they work, so when they commence work in the spring doing the remainder of the line laying im definitely going to go to them and start asking q's and see if they will do a show and tell ... im 100% sure they will .. you know anything to Not Work is right up their ally . Never Stop Learning :)

The way to go PJ, if only a few more could see how they could advance their businesses. All they need to do is educate there security staff to encourage what you do. Once they can be convinced you are not hostile, a competitor of just a 'nob' the sky is their and YOUR limit. Best of luck I think you may have hit on to something major here.

my mate used to work for insituform, same thing relining pipes and drains. They have machines that go down and cut holes at pipe junctions. I think the smallest pipe a bloke can go down to cut them manually is 18" diameter, fancy that job PJ
