I don't understand why Cali is using Stealth Kragen's affect to destroy tokens instead of destroying the monster on summon before it has the chance to make the token, does it not work like that? I thought priority was removed from the game and he could destroy the monster before it could activate its affect?

Yes because its effect says after using this effect this card cannot attack for the Rest of the turn. Meaning it can only not attack after it uses the effect, you can attack and then use its effect

Toad can negate and set the card on your side of the field, with the only requirement being Toad must negate the activation and then destroy it. So, even if that card was in the hand, like Vishuda, if Toad destroyed it, then it can set on the field. UDF requires the card to be on the field to yoink, Toad does not. Source: Master Duel. I steal people's Niburu's all the time with Toad.
