The deck is actually nibiru proof even when utilizing xyz remora. I have played this deck for a very long time, combo goes like this -> lantern -> buzzsaw, buzzsaw effect for fish 3. Make bahamut for 4, detach and make toad for 5 and you are now immune to nibiru. Then proceed to stack vespenato on bahamut and use xyz remora to detach and re summon. This is a consistent 3 toad + utopic board.

1. In regards to remora, just make bahamut then toad, overlay vespanato, then use remora. 2. Remora + white mirror is CRACK 3. It’s generation force, not once per turn, and a single printing. 4. Goldfish is 💩

And also, don't summon Lantern off of Buzzsaw. Always do either Silent Angler or Remora. What you can do tho is SS Lantern off of Beautunaful then into Buzzsaw from hand.

@@ennesb.4053 I don’t think anyone has ever summoned Lantern off of Buzzsaw in the history of sharks unless there were no more targets in deck. Lantern is super clunky anyways as a normal summon.

I play a completely diff build. Lifeless Leafish (Trade out Nettle+Left Hand for White Stingray for LL's GY effect) + White Mirror is full combo in the situation in which you fully brick. If they imperm it, you can summon Silent Angler and go off and still use white mirror. Xyz Remora doesn't make you nibiru-fodder if you just make Bahamut Shark, summoning a toad (for Nibiru negate), throwing Vespenado on top, and then using XYZ Remora to go fully ham. Run 2 Beautunaful + 1 for 1 since you can tend to brick on it and 1 for 1 generates a White Mirror Target regardless if they ash the one for one or not. 2 Crossout with Dark Ruler + 1 droplet (if you can afford it) helps you not lose to one dark ruler, one Ash, One imperm, or 1 effect veiler as a deck like this can. While Crossout is not a meta-favored card at the moment, your effects need to resolve so badly that it is justifiable to run. My opening hands with this deck tend to be insane and I can make decent boards off of very little to work with. 3 White mirror, 1 Lifeless Leaffish, 1 crossout? No Worries, that's a pretty full combo since you send xyz remora and White Mirror it and crossout ensures that happens with ease if they attempt to negate. The extra deck has crazy plays available to it that I think are slept on a wee bit here. Bagooska is amazing for turn skipping a little bit when your hand is brick city and since links have fallen out of love, it can spare you some turns. Exciton knight can blow up an opponents established board and if the opponent attempts to negate you can droplet it away for a for-sure wipe. Zoodiac package always feels redundant because you can throw zeus on Utopic if you need it and you have the exciton blow-up. PS: Some other things: Toadally Awesome can work under Skill Drain AKA RUN SKILL DRAIN. If you make even a mini combo and flip one of those, they scoop so fast. Who needs solemn when you can negate all monsters! Generation Force is GOD TIER in this deck. Can also work with XYZ Import if you're a madman and wanna run that nutso card as a good budget disruption.

For the remora combo. Make first bahamut then toad. Then the rank 5 xyz bee. Then remora. You end on 2 toads one Kragen and f0.

Lets not forget, abyss dweller gives all water monsters on your field 500 atk. So if u have kragen, draco future, toad, and dweller on the field (and its possible in the same turn) u can negate, pop, negate, graveyard block, then next turn otk

One for one is insane in this deck, Xyz remora is cracked. Isn't a opt and provides 3 free bodys for literally no reason, plus kragen doesn't need to detatch to activate its effect so if you dont wanna make future just stick with a free kragen. Crooked cook is also mandatory, sitting on a card that can literally only be outed by a kaiju or piercing damage which is accessible at any moment is kind of insane. Generation force searches remora but can also search xyz slidolphin which is a neat extender and xyz material. Left hand shark is a nice tool for grinding aswell, since they technically dont leave the field they are never banished, so hard drawing right-hand becomes pretty good. Essentially being a rank-4 every turn if you dont have any monsters on field. Bagooska and tornado dragon should probably be in there to combat the current meta atm aswell

the duo dawn king does not work the trap is not xyz summon but he recuires to be xyz summoned to prevent effeckt activation Edit: and if u choose Mermail Abyssgaios keep in minde it is only Rank 7 so u cant make it if you can only make your combo play by using the vespanato overlay method for any reason since vespanato is rank 5 and that would make the combined rank of bahamut shark and vespanato 9 so using Mermail Abyssgaios is mutch harder to pull i would recomend using Dingirsu since it can remove a card on summon with the trap card and proteckt ur monsters. i testet alot and i thing thats the best target for XYZ universe, and way to play the budget version. PS: sorry for bad englisch Im german

How is this deck budget, 2x toads and 2x sharks are 30e compared with cardmarket prices and those are the lowest rarities and 2x zeus-es are 30e more and utopic package is 40e more that's 100e for 8 cards xD

Nice deck! I'm a veteran ALO player from 2009 and love your list! You should consider changing the deck with the upcoming Umi support though, as it basically gives you access to some of the most disgusting combos we can expect. And one of them, if I'm not mistaken, is getting almost guaranteed first turn Neo Daedalus out, which is basically an FTK since nobody has hand cards but you can recycle Umi/ALO from the GY.

You can play this deck without lantern shark. Add more h/t or w.e. You’re already playing 6 important normal summons (buzzsaw/beautuna), you don’t want to use your normal summon on lantern shark since it requires you to have a level 4 in hand to make a play.

You can do the big combo while being nibiru proof with remora if you go for the bahamut shark first and use the bahamut shark after making toad to make vespenato. Vespenato will have two material for the remora.

Powerful board cracking cards are the cause. Getting an unbreakable board broken is commonplace now so the best decks will have follow up for when their board is broken.

So first of all "Hi to you Cali". (First time that I ever commented one of you videos.) You make really great videos and deck profiles. Like everybidy else I look at them first when they come out. I am also an shark player, but I must say I play tuna at 2 and 1x one for one. I hab so many matches where I only had the tuna on my hand for normal summoning and than it got ashed that it really bothered me. Also I play 2x tremora actually nice card for water Monster and in regards to Imperatrix that will come in BOSH actually a nice addin. What do you think?

Cali you should check out marincess. You can end a board with S/T negation, monster negation, and a potential 4300 beat stick that can be immune to card effects. And it’s a ONE CARD full combo. It has good resource management since multiple cards in the deck recover from the grave. It’s a sleeper

There is nothing locking him into water monsters, the only locks are into XYZ monsters because of Buzzsaw shark's effect and no special summoning from the hand because of the Silent angler that was summon by its own effect.
