@SixWingZombi3 жыл бұрын
@@tolkienblack I was pretty sure this was the case, since there were very few pokemon by gen 2 that didn't evolve outside of legendaries. Then I ran the numbers. Doing a bit of math, Elm is still wrong. Even excluding legendary pokemon from the equation, about 10.4% of the pokedex consists of nonevolving Pokemon. Meaning the amount of pokemon that DO evolve is actually something like 89.6% at the time of Generation 2. EDIT: Whoa I was way wrong and actually forgot pokemon that don't evolve. Revised numbers are 13.3% of mons don't evolve meaning 86.7% of nonlegendary pokemon are a part of an evolutionary line.

Glad you finally acknowledged that pseudolegendaries have the same stat total as mythicals and a few minor legendaries. I always found it a bit odd when you passed up the base 580 legendaries but were fine with pseudolegendaries. I guess with pseudos, you can make the case that you need to level them up and often can't obtain them until after the eighth Gym for level caps, but it starts to strain credulity in, say, a Steel-type B2W2 run where there are wild Metang already at the level to evolve to Metagross and that's fine but Cobalion isn't .
