Wouldn't call SKS trash, imo it's the best starter atm. Kibba's difficulty comes from him charging you where as Lazar and his guards do that much less, but yeah, Lazar can beam you down much faster with his VAL, and dealing with Arman's shit is indeed very annoying. ^_^ As for the gear offer: Long double barrel with regular slugs, not sure if it's possible with how bad shotguns are here, though. :P

It doesn't quite beat out the Mosin but yeah it's kinda the opposite of a trash kit. The thing is semi auto and hits like a truck.

@@SpadeDraco One-shoting bandits is nice, but Mosin's weakness is being rushed down by melee enemies which is a common problem for newer players.

Completing "First Steps Pt 2", barman's second task, is trivial with the Mosin/Makarov combo and it awards you the ability to just pick another weapon from the starting pool (excluding the Mosin hilariously). So yeah if you pick Mosin you'll still get whatever starter you want after your second raid in addition to the OP sniper rifle. The inverse isn't true though. If I pick an SKS at the start and want a Mosin later I'll have to go through the trouble of building a bench and fixing one up.

@@SpadeDraco That's fair, I've just seen too many people take the sniper and get repeatedly destroyed hunt after hunt, but yeah, as far as progression goes, Mosin's dfinitely better. ^_^

2 things: The ETS: stock, silencer and scope. Best ammo i guess. Its hell. With that low of a calibre, penetrating any armor is going to be near-impossible. The Boulder, with BuCkShOt

Gonna have to bring a lot of ammo for the ETS to complete the challenge! Also not sure about it accuracy but I wouldn't be surprised if its not very good, lol

Install the stock, the brake scope and the silencer, the only thing you will have to worry about is the recoil. It's still gonna be hell for you, so you might not wanna do it :/

I *cannot* get Lazar to drop his gun with a 30 round mag. The wiki says he can but I’ve killed him dozens of times and he’s dropped the 20 round twice, every other time its the 10 round mag. It’s infuriating.
