I loved Cinders back in the day when it was just QoL changes and adding in new gear. Now it's so bloated it's completely unrecognisable. Entire mechanics have been introduced and scrapped one patch later because they can't plan for shit

Complelely agree: it's also become hard on some PCs to run it because of all the shit they add. Like you said it really should've been a QoL and level updater mod but the 50 million NPCs and the 'adventure modes' are all just so overwhelming it leads to burnout through too much choice.

You forgot the curses. Base cinders is way easier than unmodded game. But you have a special npc in firelink who offers you curses in exchange of more souls and special shards you can upgrade your rings with. You can also get these shads in company of champions.

if you want to do something fun, do a roll-only run. since the mod increases the damage from the armor of thorns substantially. As well as multiple rings to boost it even more!

@@Castle_Gulag se te olvida la parte mas importante que es que para conseguirlos tienes que pasarte el juego de una cierta forma no me acuerdo cual era cual pero para conseguir uno tienes que pasarte el juego sin morir y para el otro era hacerlo sin el uso de hogueras lo que es super jodido ya que significa que no recuperas estus ni tampoco puedes recuperar con facilidad el desgaste de las armas en el dark souls 2 tener cualquiera de los dos era una especie de honor o respeto para el jugador porque es jodido conseguirlos.
