Sick stuff. I only discovered this whole speedrunning scene a couple of days ago. I’ve just downloaded the iPad version of the Definitive Edition, as GTA 3 had the biggest impact on me as a videogame when I was a 12-year-old kid. So, I was looking up strategies for one of the missions and stumbled upon some speedrun videos. Then, I found an excellent run for the Definitive Edition and your world record. The strategies involving replays and rampages are insane, as is renaming the skin to a coordinate. I wonder if speedrunners look up the source code for possibilities.

yes they do look at the code. this is how gta sa is 10 minutes. vc any% 8 minutes and so on.
