Im having this problem in my current save. Loans are not worth it when youre a Prem team because teams expect you to take on the full salary + a monthly fee + sometimes mandatory/optional transfer fee, and its hard to find guys who actually make your team better, even if youre a bottom third Prem team

What I realized selling via mediator, and paying a part of the fee seems to work just fine. I was able to get rid of most deadwood in Tottenham in one season by that. All Saudi clubs.

I am playing my 1st ever fm save with Málaga and a wild Antony Martial appears in the second division of spain. He signed to a spanish 1st div team that got relegated in the 1st season of the save and I got promoted to the 2nd div in the 1st season. I just found it hilarious

When a big team offers to loan a player, just go to transfer offer and select the amount you want. It works a fair amount. Bosh

I have been trying to show Z that you can offer five 12-Monthly installments instead of just three. After you add the 3, you can then go in again and offer 2 more so that you can finance a transfer out 5 years instead of just 3.
