The starters will always give their "core" type, so it doesn´t matter if Bulbasaur is Grass/Poison type, it´ll always give grass

The green color with the fusion doesn't mean the pokemon are compatible. It means that a custom sprite has been created for that fusion. Anything with a white silhouette just means the games ai made the sprite by some algorithm in the mod. Mostly just using the body of the first mon, the head of the 2nd mon and one or the others palate I believe the body.

btw about the randomizer, you can set a lot of parameters in it one including stat range, meaning you can randomize pokemon to be a set range from the pokemon you would normally find there, that means you won't find any pseudo legendaries if you just don't crank it up a lot, I played through the entire Kanto region with randomizer and only found pseudos on the very end, well besides larvesta, but that mon is pretty bad until it evolves at 59 so it wasn't like it was broken or anything

I dont know if you figured this out later but the way you fuse a pokemon has an effect on their stats. I forget the equation but depending on which way you fuse they effect Hp, SpAttk, SpDef (Head) and Attack, Speed, Defense (Body). So picking pokemon with those high stats for those roles can make some super strong pokemon like Blissey(Head) and Shuckle(Body) or Snorlax(Head) and Slaking(Body)

Actually, when a Pokémon fusion is shown with a white background is because this specific fusion doesn't have a custom sprite yet, so it's using the game's vanilla sprite
