I'm not naive to think a large country can replicate the management model of countries with smaller territories and population. But even in Brazil the countryside towns have free public immediate care for the specialties available. It's only in the big cities that the system gets overloaded by too many people and not ebough resources. If the USA system only work for those with money in whatever scale you look at it, then it failed the majority of its population from the get go.

Technically, you have infinite healing and PP as soon as you beat the Rocket Grunt in Cerulean City. In the Underground Path (both of them in fact), there are hidden items that have a chance to respawn after you walk 1500 steps. It takes forever, but you do have infinite Potions, anti-status items and Ethers. The same is true for mushrooms in Mt. Moon.

Super fun run! But just cuz I've gotta be that guy: 1. Your pokeflute could have gotten rid of sleep in battle 2. Meowth's pickup could have given you TONS more items 3. Tiny mushrooms can also be found on rocks in the hallways in Mt. Moon

The Move Deleter breaks the challenge. It gives infinite PP, which could have been used to grind your Pokemon to Level 100, making the game trivial.

Interesting concept. As soon as youre able to use the move deleter exploit it becomes incredibly easy. It completely undermines the concept of the "challenge". Think this would be a great alternative to a nuzlocke if you: 1. Cant get unlimited PP with move deleter exploit. 2. Don't use switch mode (which takes away 90% of the difficulty in battle) The only thing that matters is that you enjoyed yourself. Would love to see a re-run with this added difficulty!

This was a great video! Dont listen to the haters; I think what you did was super impressive honestly. A big draw to me with challenge videos is seeing how players, even with restrictions, find loopholes (like the move learner/deleter) making them do things that normal players wouldn't. I actually am doing this challenge myself And I think I got one of the best way of healing the whole team, I.e. leech seeding poliwhirls and healing them with surfs or any other water move as it has water absorb Hope this helps in the future 😊

I have to say that although I did like your video, editing, humor and overall quality, In the end I did find the title quite misleading. Sonething im sure you have forgotten during this run ( i guess because of stress and panic lol) is that gyarados had x4 weakness to electric type moves, so thunder was probably gonna kill each time , rhydon has x4 weakness to water type moves, so ofc surf would one shot, and at last charizard has X4 weakness to rock type moves, so yeah he was gonna go down:) vongrats on the run though i was buttclenching the final fight too haha

funny, unless we count the effort of evolving your pkmn, you get all but 2-3 as presents. you get venusaur as a present from professor oak at game start, then you bought magicarp (got scammed anyway), then you got eevee for free from some girl, then you bought dratini, then you got lapras from some guy and eventually you traded in a fossil for aerodactyl. well, you couldve also gotten hitmonlee or hitmonchan and omanite or kabuto, so that's a little surprising, not sure where they went.

I don't recall if you can reteach TM's that Pokémon have learned before and forgotten via the move relearner or not, but if you could then you could easily farm for tiny mushrooms to have infinite relearns. Also, while sleep powder was definitely clutch once you get access to the move relearner or if you forgo it early for poison powder that could help in training up your low-level Pokémon with less HP and important move pp loss, especially if you can use the relearner on Thief/tm moves.

I was thinking about this type of challenge myself. Gen 3 is probably the only one where you could apply this. Starting with Gen 4, you can just farm Leppa and Oran berries to circumvent the problem of no HP/PP.

i tried to do a less extreme version of this challenge once on Y. (i allowed myself items/poke balls, but it was also nuzzlocke.) the reason i say "tried" and not "did" is because theres so many NPCs who heal your party without player consent if you talk to them i rage quit after having to restart from my last save point so often.

There was a couple times you swapped into Venasaur instead of another mon to sleep powder, then swapped into another mon to finish them off. You risked a lot with this and wasnt really punished for it but firstly, the sleep powder can miss risking damage, this also takes away pp on the move, the switch into another mon can allow them to do damage to the mon if they wake up turn 1. Instead you could have just swapped to the mon that would have outsped and killed. Like the Gyrados on 3 HP in the champion fight would without a doubt outspeed Rhydon and kill with Surf since stab + 4x super effective. So you played a huge risk instead of taking the guaranteed kill there. It also seems youre unfamiliar with damage calculations as youre surprised an Earthquake from Onix would do little to Lapras (Onix has bad attack stat, Lapras is 4x resistant to Ground). That and being surprised to Jolteon OH-KO’ing gyrados many times with Thunder, thats 110 base power on a pokemon with extremely good Sp.Atk + Stab + 4x super effective. Also a few times you ised thunder which a thundershock would have killed Overall good video, just could refine some decisions and could have made your run a lot less painful

Why Gyarados use surf on Sabrina? Gyarados has bad sp. attack, and all of Sabrina's team have very high sp. defense.. especially Alakazam. That fight would've gone way smoother if you relied on Gyarados' physical instead. Same with Dragonite in the champion battle... Dragon claw is special in gen 3, and Dragonite has 134 attack and adamant nature.. Fly would've OHKO'd Alakazam. Other than that, nice run mate.
