Apparently you CAN steal the Black Hole, but only woth Grip Claw/Thief/Covet, and only in Endless. That last one may not be 100% accurate, but it's all I've been able to confirm through looking it up. Since you used Ursaluna, I wonder how having Hisuian Typhlosion might've impacted things? Giving him a Ghost subtype might've helped somewhere.

So, something I'm slightly ashamed of... I forgot Hisuian Typhlosion existed when I was doing this run lol. I'm not sure how it slipped my mind, but it probably would've made a decent difference.

@@Valancet that's actually kinda funny XD. I dunno if Hisui Typhlosion has any special moves, or just the typing though... Just gotta remember when it comes to Samurott and Decidueye! And possibly others, I think Avalugg still uses a normal base. Rufflet and Sneasel and Zorua are unique though. Will you count PLA as it's own gen? Or count it as part of Gen 8 like the game does? It's only 5 unique lines (Growlithe, Voltorb, Quillfish, Sneasel, and Zorua) with a few evos (Braviary, the starters, Ursaluna, Basculegion, Avalugg) as exclusive to the gen, but it could be interesting if you can manage to scrounge a full team with those limits!

I remember when I first saw your Gen 1 video I was inspired to attempt a Gen 2 one though I immediately got the DNA splicers so I kinda just did my own thing. Also it prob would’ve been easier if you got the Fishous Rend egg move on Totodile

I got a pokerus of Gen 2 run that I am doing and it’s not easy because pure grass is killing me because grass weak to so many types and these series is making want to do the same thing but with pokerus and does anyone know how to get the hisuian starters?

I know a Typhlosion and Decidueye evelolve into their Hisuian forms if you let them evolve at night. Not sure about Oshwatt. The wiki might say though.

@@Valancet tbf urasring and teddyursa are gen 2. So it’s okay to get the final evo for that mons line. Not their fault they gave new evolutions to old Pokémon. Like how annihilape is okay for gen 1 only runs. Because the Mandy line is gen 1 besides the final so it counts. I hate these elitist saying naw it’s not gen… it came out this gen…. Imagine gate keeping evolution because they didn’t release the same time as that mons original evolution line. It’s like saying u can use crowbat cuz zubat and goo at we’re gen 1. So how the fun jam I supposed to use crowbat then. Catch it. Bs.

@allen2reckless676 that was my thought exactly. It gets real muddy with the cross gen evolutions and prior forms. Gen 4 would be a real hassle as well since most of the good Pokemon are new evolutions.
