10:45 Theres actually inaccessible coins on the top left of the spawn area here unless you use the ! badge. I think you could use the bubble powerup to jump up there, so I think technically you missed a few coins in this level.

Honestly, I’m pretty sure he also missed tons of coins in hidden blocks. Every one of the 12 characters has their own hidden blocks scattered throughout the game, and I very highly doubt he found them all. (Unless he methodically played each level at least 12 times, once with each character)

One thing I'd like to point out is that watering the ground eventually does stop giving you coins, on a per-level basis, so it's not infinite generation. If you've got that kind of patience.

I feel like the "add ! blocks" badge should've still be used as it adds some sub areas that are only available when you have it, like in the very first level

Oh, there are other exclusive subareas? I've only played through World 3 using that badge so far, and the first level is still the only one with a badge exclusive subarea I've seen Also helps that it often leaves gaps in-between the added blocks to highlight hidden blocks tied to characters too

Do you have a specific example of something in the first level that’s only accessible with ! Blocks? I just played through it. I can certainly see some areas that would be easy to miss without that badge, but I didn’t find any I haven’t been to before without it

I’m glad that this game is open to challenges like this with the badges. It shows how much the game was built to be enjoyed. I actually just 100% the game with the Jet Run badge the ENTIRE time! It was actually good fun, too. I suggest trying it! If anyone wants to try: RULES: After beating the few levels below, you must get all 6 completion medals. Yoshis and Nabbit are banned, and you must deny any prompt from shopkeepers or badge challenge completions to unequip the Jet Run badge. You need to beat these levels with *no flagpole top, no big flower coins, and no wonder flower wonder seeds.* This is so you HAVE to replay the levels for completion after you get the Jet Run badge. Just a minor thing, but it seems there is actually a limit to how many coins you get from spraying water as an elephant. I guess they didn't want to make getting max lives be as easy as standing in water as an elephant, because trying to do that was how I found out about the limit.

Actually, while the elephant trunk can get you a lot of coins by splashing water on the ground, it isn't infinite. After a while, coins stop appearing for the level you're in, only being refreshed once you enter a new level.

In the second airship, you can actually break the jet burners with the bowser laser, much like the bullet bills in the first airship, but I don’t know if they drop coins. Same with the giant lava bubbles in the third airship.

There's a way you can get all the coins in Cosmic Hoppos, all you need to do is grab a bubble power up, activate the wonder seed, and you can do infinite jumps with the bubble power up to get all the coins. 25:46

You could probably get the coins in Cosmic Hoppos by using crazy bubble parkour all the way up the screen, because you don't actually need to jump off of the hoppo to trigger the floating wonder effect section.

you could still do Cosmic Hoppos while getting all the coins - Just, instead of using the hoppo to get up, climb up using the bubble flower and the boosting spinjump badge and get all the coins in the air that way. If you reach the top of the area like this, you can still trigger the anti-gravity event to continue the level. That'd let you pick up all the coins on the way up at any pace, with no danger needing you to restart either.

I think you may have messed up in the second level - there are coins on the top of the level in front of the secret exit pipe that you neither mentioned getting nor showed getting in this video. They are definitely possible, but they are very easy to miss if you don't know they are there and probably should have been mentioned.
