That is a good point. You can ground pound on two blocks simultaneously. When you're on top, the meteors would damage you instead of destroying the blocks. But even then, the poison gas is following you closely from behind. But like Nathaniel said, maybe there's a slim chance to do this with four really talented players and carefully plotting what blocks you can get.

You don’t actually need a friend for the five coin blocks - you can smash down on them from the top in which case you automatically collect them without them spilling out everywhere.
