I should say this to perhaps provide some assistance considering what you said regarding the Devastators and Hulks. You are correct with their heads being the only REAL weakpoint on the Devs and Hulks(+heatsink), but for Devastators you can aim for the belly as a relatively unarmored area that can outright break them in half if you shoot them with shotguns/MGs. Easily the 2nd best place to aim to kill them, while the 3rd best(s) are the legs/crotch-area and a weird softspot somewhere around their head, which make you chew through the main torso hp or high leg hp, but both of these areas are only Light armor. And of course the glowing stomach of the Berserkers is also a weak area. Hulks have one extra way to be killed and it is through the legs. Support weapons with the AC-8's level of penetration or higher is capable of damaging the legs as well as the arms of a Hulk, shooting one leg until it blows will severely cripple it's movement speed, and taking out the other will make it fall over and explode. I have more intricate "where to shooty" knowledge if anyone needs it
