The crazy thing is, if you do some performance tuning on the suspension of the Corolla (making it lower as possible) it's even more broken and if you change the overall gear ratio to "acceleration" it doesn't lose top speed but it also wins a TON of overall acceleration. Random Fact: The 240sx is the fastest car in the game doing the drag race test in the performance tuning.

Toyota Celica is the Fastest at the maximum settings but you need to set the ECU and Turbo at the Right position.

RE: 9:40, it would be amazing to get a game that attracts new fans to the racing genre for sure but I think the biggest value would be showing other publishers that it is worth throwing their hat in the ring. Remember when there were endless street racing games? Juiced, NFS, Midnight Club (♥️), Burnout, etc.... What a golden age.

4:28 That's the reason I was able to finish MW and Carbon with minimum cop interaction in my *earlier playthroughs.* I only did the necessary milestones while meeting the bounty requirement in MW and managed to finish Carbon without meeting a single cop (except prologue). You can avoid the 5-0 by simply slowing down to let an opponent pass you so the officer chases them instead of you, then immediately gain the lost speed and overtake that opponent. You might have to restart that race if you get detected because sometimes the cop detects you instead of your opponent. You will save time by encountering patrol cars during a race in MW. Do this only if you're scared of the cops/newbie in these games. You shouldn't do this if you're already experienced with these games. I've finished both games multiple times with cop chases lasting over 10 minutes in Carbon and cop chases aren't necessary in NFSC. I used to avoid the 5-0 in these games when I was new to these games and didn't figure out how to do a proper cop chase.

Carbon is very easy, Sal to win everything for you and just gtfo asap after each race so you lose the cops in seconds. I completed the entire game with one big pursuit.

I actually enjoy the cop chases more than the races (hate the rubberbanding in NFS MW). Beating the hell out of cops and ramming them is so satisfying

I hadn't played U2 in almost ten years, so I decided to do a new playthrough. I also had never tried Hard difficulty before, so I decided to flip that option on too. ... I don't think Underground 2 is as good as I remembered. Like it's fine, but the progression starts to drag on pretty quickly, and the rubberbanding AI is a riot. The way they curve into that one corner at mach speeds in the URL circuit is hilarious. To be fair, I also used Supra for most of the playthrough and man that car is weirdly bad in this game.

I play and finish U2 every year, so what I've learned (I THINK) is that the rubber band AI kicks in when you wall-ride or don't brake on curves. This is only valid when playing hard difficulty, witch is why I stick to normal...

Last time I played through this entire game I managed to do it on an emulator my phone and I had used touch controls for probably about half of it. Looking back, that was the peak of my my gaming performance. It's been all downhill from there.

@@sukhdevr3489 yeah....Dolphin. If a game I'm trying to emulate is available on GameCube I always use that version for mobile devices. I had to compromise on some of the quality settings and play around with the options a lot but it ran really really well with that in mind. I was on a Galaxy S7.

@@sukhdevr3489 yeah if you're on a weaker device you definitely need to tweak some stuff. Even on a powerful PC the default options don't always work correctly...esp with audio problems. I would have to research what all the options mean if I did it now but it's not too hard to pick up on what you need to tweak for different games based on the issues you're having.

i played through nfsu2 with the voxhaul corsa and the hummer h2 only on console version, but corolla and h2 hummer on pc version. no other vehicles. same as the only vehicle i used in nfsu1 was the mx5 only. I believe in the starter car only. no swapping

With some Profile editors I waste many Hours of My Time to take the interesting cars to STAGE 5 with the Unique Upgrades (Power Set Up: Engine+Ecu/Turbo+Weight RK). Those were: .Focus: It has a acceptable handling with a very good accel. .Celica: Great handling with well accel. It's kinda troublesome with drifts or Drags. .240SX: Good handling IF you put Front Aerodynamic at 6.0 or less. The best accel in the game. .350Z: One of the most fun cars to drive. Great accel, cool top speed and good handling. .Hyundai Tiburon: Another fun car to drive. Great Accel and Good top speed. It's a flash. .Eclipse: medium handling, good top speed and very good accel. .Lancer: regular at best. .Corolla: Broken. Just add extra power to it and it becomes a nightmare. .Honda Civic: Great Handling, good accel and good top speed. It becomes kinda op in last stage. .Supra: only good top speed and accel. .RX8: Very good handling, good accel and good top speed. It's fun to drive. .Skyline: Great top speed, cool accel and regular handling. .MustangGt: only fun for drag and drift events .AudiTT: Great accel and good top speed.. regular/bad handling. If you had the possibility to take RX-7 from stage 1 to 5 it could be easily top 5 Best car on the game. Without UP it has great Handling, great accel and good top speed
