beating the game first try is really, really hard, if not impossible. anything that makes the game remotely fair into the later stages of a run isn't unlocked at level 1, you don't get to make use of opened doors or various other luxuries that the late game gives you, and the difficulty of monsters goes up super far well before you could get to even one of the areas needed to beat the game. you got pretty far for one run, though

Seems like the game has ramping over time, so exploring more isn't necessarily a good thing. Ypu could get more upgrades, but you could also make the enemies so strong that you can't keep up. I definitely like that way of openly allowing the players to explore with a ramping difficulty. Plus the game looks cute as heck lol

This is funny because it's impossible to win your first run since to get to the final boss and ending you have to select something special befofe your run after doing certain things in the game which is almost guaranteed to take multiple runs but technically the minimum is 2

I like the game quite a lot. I think I've heard of it before too. That said, I feel like the whole "World is cut into pieces" thing didn't really make it into the actual gameplay. You'd expect stuff like that to mean the maps were a 3*3 randomized grid, but its all premade. Outside of that tho, it seems pretty great.
@js99552 жыл бұрын
The layout of the map stays the same but each "room" is randomised for each run.
@dkznikolaj70132 жыл бұрын
@@js9955 Yeah, so having the "room" be 9 different pieces just seems kinda... eh. I've seen the development of this game tho, and I know why it is as it is, so i guess you cant blame them too much
