Fun fact: in fiend folio reheated, there is a rare enemy known as the crudemate. The crudemate is basically a tboi version of the crewmate from among us, all it does is just walk around a room, trying not to look sus, the crudemate is the rarest enemy in all of fiend folio and is a 0.1 chance of encountering it in the dank depths, the crudemate will use a manhole as a vent if he sees it therefore when he vents, he’s gone for the rest of the game

I think it's just hard to shake off the whole habit of "Oh, I'm on this floor and need to look for this specific rock shape for tinteds" that is a bit hard to shake off for me after ~1000 hours But yeah, there's probably a couple obvious ones in there

Hutts if you hold tab external items will show you the description of the item that was on the pedestal if you're near it (when you pick up a blind item) you can also open it's menu with maybe "c" and click on inventory, although it is a little more indepth of a description usually

honestly i've been trying out fiend folio reheated on a new save file and the enemies' health really bites, especially on the first 3 floors. i'm pretty sure i also tried it on a new file when the original fiend folio came out on ab+, but the enemies weren't as oppressive in the health department. either that or my luck is cursed, i mean i had a pretty good azazel run and the enemies weren't a problem then. enemies are rarely the problem in azazel runs, though

hutts's idea about Champion Isaac and ??? variants is pretty smart ngl. I'm thinking azazel and Jacob&esau as Isaacs champion forms. follow in monstros footsteps with one Champion being stronger but sluggish, and the other being two weaker variants you have to balance. as for ??? the forgotten and eve come to mind.
