That video was really excellent. Very well filmed, narrated and edited. I’ve subscribed and hope to see some more. Course looks stunning and your back nine was 👍

What an amazing comment - thanks so much Russell! You really have no idea how appreciative I am to see comments like yours. The course is always in really good condition and enjoyable to play. A good few tricky holes in there so you have to play well. I seem to have a nack for playing poorly on the front 9 and well on the back 9 right now! Anyway, your comment has given me a little boost and perhaps a push to go out and film a few more of these! 👊👊

Good round mate, nice to see how you tackle Pitfirrane, I moved from Burntisland along with Dougie Muir and this is my 3rd season at Dunfermline now, still trying to figure out the best way to play it lol.

Thanks very much, Bryce. I probably play it a difference way each and every time but it was a fairly decent round. I've managed one level par round and a few 1 or 2 over at DGC, but also many much higher rounds. I think I still prefer Burntisland as I just loved it there and but enjoy DGC too. Hopefully get a game with you and Dougie at some point!

Great video Andy. I just got my handicap confirmed by my local club. Assigned an initial HI of 36! On my third scorecard I scored more than double 80 (170) 😢 I wonder if I will ever get to the level you are at... I hope I can...

Thanks so much, Robert - glad you enjoyed it. Nice work on getting the handicap - congrats. Just stay positive and keep working on your game. It’ll come down before you know it. When I got my first handicap, it was 22 and I remember putting in some round around 110 or so. Gradually, though, I dropped. I don’t play all that much as we have a young daughter but I try and get out one evening a week to at least play 9 or 18 and have managed to pretty much play to my handicap most times. The key, in my opinion, is to develop a sharp short game. If you can get comfortable and confident around the greens, your scores and handicap will drop drastically. The other thing is not to worry about getting your handicap down. Just enjoy playing golf and the better you play the more it will begin to come down!
