Hi Rob, glad you are better, we missed you. Really enjoyed this one but take care with the hood mechanism. We have an Slk which has a similar protective guard. We drove back from Italy with the hood down and boot fully loaded. We came to a tunnel and figured we would put the hood up. Pressed the switch and the hood started to move then I think a case slipped in the boot and triggered the microswitch. So roof now half open and stuck. My wife managed to get her arm through the mechanism and trigger the microswitch. The roof mechanism immediately started to move with my wife’s arm in it. Fortunately she pulled it out quick! My godson is a fitness instructor and picked up Covid on Boxing Day, this week he finally made it downstairs but is sleeping 18 hours a day. Take care all of you out there. Finally my only repair technique has appeared; ‘whack it’. 😁. My service techniques are, blow on it, clean it, spray it with WD40, gaffer tape it or ignore it. Usually all of them. Glad you’re back and all on the mend. 👍🏻

Hi Rob , glad to see you back , if a little out of puff. One of my guys (23yrs old) has just had COVID. And says he now feels like he’s running on 50% , and has to leave us half way through the day as he needs to sleep with the fatigue but is increasing strength slowly (manual work) . 👍👍😁
