The bass sounds funky like dr Dre n the snares sound like claps which are popular in g funk, listen to the albums “steel on a mission” - Lil half dead “Doggy style” - Snoop dogg “Lethal injection” - Ice cube “Dogg food” - Tha Dogg Pound “Curb servin” - WC and the maad circle “G funk era” - Warren G G FUNK got that more laid back and funky style with a mix of gangster in it while Boom Bap does have some jazzy and laid back sounds too, but the drums are mainly raw and hard hitting.
