I agree with what you said about opening packs with a master set in mind being the most satisfying way of opening cards. I had a blast with the 151 set because I was excited for every common and reverse holo I got! But for Paldean Fates... there's literally only 90 normal cards and 150 secret rares. Not as fun to open!

I really wish I had got back into collecting sooner. The sylveon cards are stunning. Gutted I missed the set when it wasn’t crazy expensive like it is now. Was lucky enough to accidentally buy some in a mini not long ago that was reduced in price.

I opened so much of this set back when it released and never got either of the Rayquaza alts and ended up having to buy them. I did end up getting 3 Moonbreons though, grading comes back on those in about a month so fingers crossed 🤞
