@@psyduckspice I gotta try Hardcore mode now that I beat normal mode. I've played Hardcore mode 2 times as a playthrough. If I beat a hardcore nuzlocke I will have probably done every challenge in the game.

not to brag, but watching this video made me think about my 4.1 RR nuzlocke. Against Lance's Primal Dialga, I brought Seviian Milotic. It was Calm nature and I had it there SPECIFICALLY to tank a Flash Cannon from said Dialga. Then I mirror coat the damage right back. Probably one of my best plays in a nuzlocke (I ultimately won against the champ with 1 death cuz his ditto was being dumb). Milotic is actually insane against the elite 4. It walls a bunch of pokemon like the Champion's Miraidon.

Mirror Coat Milo against Primal Dialga is a tech I've found independently. I was actually going to use Assault Vest to guarantee that I lived a crit. It was a backup line since Scream Tail into Gouging Fire sweeps Lance most of the time, but one I was excited to use. Then I wiped to Lorelei :)

I was very close to brining milotic tbh, decided against it when I brought garchomp instead. Nice play! I never take as much of an advantage of mirror coat and counter as I should honestly

@@galaxystudios370 I was gonna run AV, but then flash cannon wouldn't do enough without a crit to where mirror coat would kill. I kinda risked the crit (very un-nuzlocker of me) especially since Milotic was also needed to counter the champ and lances iron jugulis,, but it was my only guaranteed way of getting the kill.

@@psyduckspice I must admit, bringing no mega is pretty bold man. I couldn't have done that in my winning run. I brought Zard Y to pair with Armarouge against Lorelei (Double Heat Wave). I even brought Salamence as backup mega as it sweeps Bruno (and team 1 of Agatha) by itself.

I risk crits all the time tbf, so you're doing better than me! I had mega garchomp and snorlax, I just switched out items a lot so I didn't use a mega in every fight!

Competitive Empoleon. Bold. Chople Berry. Scald, Flash Cannon, Protect, Roost. Protect on turn 1 and Scald Incineroar on turn 2. You will solo 90% of the time with this setup.

my lease favorite thing about hardcore radical red is that it allows gym leaders luxuries you don't get (moves, abilities, etc.). I wish there was a mode with the harder teams but that didn't forbid moves, abilities, or certain held items.

29:50 This game has dynamic speed when it comes to mega evolutions, you just forgot to take Booster Energy into account. (also you didn't need to rematch Erika) Pretty fire Elite Four team! Apecio Unbound has a Damage Calculator for Radical Red 4.1 with preset boss fight mons already built into the calculator. If you're playing on Min Grind Mode, you will need to remove the EVs from the boss trainers though (excluding the 252 HP EVs on Ghost Marowak).

Leftovers I'm pretty sure, you can see it go up to 27 after the protect for like a few frames. It's the way I edit it, I tend to cut xp messages, things like weather chip and leftover recovery when syncing up the video with the audio
