Your enthusiasm is infectious, every time I watch your vids ( usually in bed on telly , which BTW, I can't put anything in the comment section ) I feel like jumping out of bed and getting a rifle out of the gun room and just hold it, and feel it in my hands, great vids.. That's, why your subs have rocketed..

Another great video. As someone has already said, your enthusiasm really is infectious. You really have got the bug for it now. My 22 NP02 is a bit erratic until I’ve put a couple of mags through it. I’ve found the sweet spot is 170 to 110. Maybe you could pick up a rail mounted spirit level to stop you from leaning the gun to one side ( leaning the gun is known as “Cant”). It will definitely help with consistency and they’re only about £7. There’s an eBay seller that sells a biathlon lever that simply slides over the Kral cocking lever and clamps in place with a small screw (no drilling required). It allows you to cock the gun easier and without raising your head each time. This will help keep your breathing and heart rate lower and allow you to keep looking through the scope in case you need a follow up shot. If you or someone you know is handy with some basic hand tools, get them to polish the trigger sears. It’s only a 15 minute job but it makes a huge difference. Kral are known to leave a few rough edges on their guns and the trigger sears are one of those areas. It may help stop some of those flyers as the trigger can feel a bit Gritty

Some excellent tips and advice there! I appreciate you taking the time to comment! I definitely need to learn more about internals at some point. I’d like to try and get a bit more hands on with it as time goes on. I think a level is a great idea. John from Hawkes Eye TV has one on one of his and that’s what made the penny drop for me when it comes to “cant” and now it seem so obvious 🤪 Thanks for the positive vibes too. Makes it all worth the effort 😁🤙

Keep up the good work Adam. I love watching your videos. The bipod you are using is mounted to the bottle and barrel of the rifle. The more you rest on the gun. The more the point of aim will change. Try using a sandbag on the front of the stock and the back of the gun. You should get better Accuracy that way

It's good that you're pellet testing soon. Matching the right pellet for the right gun is so important. I've tried about 20 different pellets for my HW110 before i found H&N Baracuda FT 4.50mm heads. With these im hitting 10 shot groups in a 10mm x 10mm hole at 50m. Lethally accurate pellet for my gun. On the flip side, the worst ones i've tried ive been lucky to get 3 inch groups at 30m!!

One pointer if you REALLY want to drive yourself up the wall in regard to fine tuning. Get yourself a chronograph if the budget allows it, I’m doing it at the moment with my new Air-arms. Shoot it from the full power all the way down until it loses power, and put it into a graph, then you can find the sweet spot. I am a bit sad haha 😜. Still got to install a new regulator into it then I should be done.

Recently subbed to your channel to follow your target shooting journey. You're getting better with each session! As others have already given some great advice, I'll add my two penn'orth (more like War & Peace). The first is practise, practise, practise! The more often you shoot, the sooner you'll find the shooting style that is most natural for you, as in how you hold the rifle, and how you sit/stand/crouch whilst aiming. Also, relax! It's supposed to be fun! I know you're getting all excited & giddy when the pellet goes where you tell it (it's a great buzz), but when you've hit your mark just take a breath, calm down, then try and do exactly what you did with the last shot. This will also help with keeping the costs down - you're blasting through pellets like there's no tomorrow! I think for your own sanity, you could maybe spend most of your shooting sessions aiming at targets at one distance (25m is a good range to go for at this stage), but then just for fun, and trying out holdovers, aiming at other distances towards the end of the session. Check your trigger weight - is it easy to 'let go', or do you have to put some effort into getting the thing to fire? Although you don't want too light a trigger (this could make it an unsafe 'hair-trigger') you don't need to be having to pull it too hard, as this could affect your aim. Finally, there is very little recoil from a PCP air rifle, so you won't need to hold it in a death-grip! In fact it might be useful if you try to keep as little of your body in contact with the rifle as possible. Don't press your cheek too hard on the cheek piece and don't grip it too tight with your trigger hand. That's all I've got for you - no doubt someone will come back with different opinions, but like you I've only just started target shooting this year, and these tips have helped me improve my accuracy over the last few months. Keep up the good work!

Cant ( scope slant ) can be easily sorted with a small spirit level attached to either scope or gun rear. Also, eye alignment, you have to make sure your looking dead centre through the scope every shot. I use the centre bend in my baseball cap resting gently on top of the scope every shot so i know where my cheek piece needs to be. You can also put a subtle marker on your cheek piece so you know the exact spot. Loving the content bro 😎

Great video good to see your learning the rifle. I have owned a np02 for a while now few things i found with it i always let off a few shots 2-3 after a refill. Second i found is the mags that come with it are not great at all. I found they was causing damage to the pellets when loading into the breach i found a company that makes mags for the np02s called jce3d after getting mags from them the pellets load in so smooth no crunching in they just glided in so maybe check them out. Next is when adding a silencer to these some have been known to cause clipping so every now and then just check the end of the silencer see if you are getting any clipping dont seem like you are always worth keeping a eye on it. not sure if they have done this yet but if you get some shotgun stock oil and give it a good few coats on the stock and take the stock off also and do the inside it brings the gain out in the wood and makes it look so much better.

The Kral magazines can be a bit hard on pellets with a soft skirt, like the JSBs and can sometimes damage the skirt as the pellet is loaded. Think about maybe grabbing a single shot tray from CARM to eliminate this variable. it's also worth knowing that the Kral rifles can have a really tight choke. They can often work better with a pellet with a smaller head diameter.I'm going to test some QYS heavies, both 4.50 and 4.49mm heads.

Getting hold of someone with a chronograph would be a real help finding the sweet spot (as you noticed full doesn't mean best), run from full down noting the speeds of the pellets rather than focusing on accuracy (for now) and every 10 pellets or so note the air pressure in the gun. Find where you have the a decent amount of shots within a very close speed and that's basically your sweet spot. The best pellet in your gun at 30m won't necessarily be that good at 35/40m so if you're thinking about hunting look for the pellet that gives the best groupings over those distances you want to hunt. Working out the best pellets and working out your hold over/under (mildots) should all be done within the sweet spot. The tilt of your air rifle and the position you place your cheek to the stock each time can all make changes to your accuracy. Pellet testing can be a long and anal (not like that!) process you'll either love or hate.....

Yup, it 'should' increase in power from full, then drop off once the air is low, your 'sweet spot' is between the volume of air at which it stops rising, then ft/lb holds more or less stable for a while and eventually drops markedly. Simple to find with a tin of pellets (Ideally your rifles food of choice) pen and paper. Write the max-min values on some tape on your rifle somewhere you won't knock often and cover with sellotape to seal. That way you'll have a handy reminder for each rifle/pistol once your stable grows 🤘😁

(essential if hunting)watch your own videos and you will learn a lot about how your shooting position changes, Noticed your cheek placement which will effect your eye relief looking through the scope, dont know if youve tried the blanking off the reticle with small hole in centre (known as the foil test i believe) to check your eye alignment, you may need to pad out the stock for cheek height to correctly align to centre height of scope.

Adrenalin will make it hard to stay accurate too. Take breaks between mags and try and stay calm. Rest the body and don't fire too many too quickly. It's a bit like the golfer at the range who hits too many balls. He gets tired, accuracy drops, he keeps trying harder but getting more tired in a vicious circle. Dont forget that temperature will affect everything from air pressure, if its cold, your lead pellets will go hard ,if its warm, they go soft .Also, you have barrel expansion ,try and stick to 3 or 5 round groups ,get yourselves a bit of A4 paper, and just stick a few dots the size of a .22 pellet and have a go at that old archery trick ,and holding your rifle level is called canting ,i always zero at 30 yards, but i am Gen X lol ,your doing great bud ,also try 5 rounds without taking your head off the butt ,lots of us will tell you how to suck eggs but you will get your own way ,also if you want you can weigh and size pellets ,but if your gettingvthem all in a 20p coin you are there m8
