A moving blanket is a good idea! I’ve just been using cardboard like a homeless person 🤪 (Not to disparage the homeless… I just know that seems to be the the product of choice for multiple applications. We’re 6 months away from homeless ourselves at any given point if we’re out of work 😬)

We were able to fit 2 on top of each other in the back of a Tesla model y. Had to take off handle bars tho

I have an Ariel Rider X class. I was going to buy something to haul it, but I also have a Chevy Tahoe. I was able to toss it in the back with room to spare, so I may hold off on buying something for a while. My truck has such a big foot print, I'm hesitant on adding anything else.

Great tips and editing, as others mentioned lowering the handle bars with the 5mm allen key can make loading a lot easier for smaller cars. I personally also remove the battery since it makes each bike lighter and prevents an accidental power on.

Thank you Tristan, this has been so helpful. Found a used 73z1 with 75 miles on the battery. I have a 2011 Crown Vic and if Liam can get his in that Ford Fiesta, surely I can get mine in the back of my Crown Vic. I found this one mint condition for $1200. Is that a deal? Will be my first ebike. All I really need it for is when I take my Vic to the shop for servicing, I can ride the 73 back home. Only like 3.5 miles one way. I've been studying for a while and I like this Z1 for the simplicity. No gears to shift etc. I found a new Lectric XP 2.0 about 2hrs away for $900, (Owner purchased two and wants to sell the step through) but I really think the Z1 would suit me better. A lot less complicated. I always try to buy used before I buy new.

Oh man, I'm stoked. The owner Heather, sold me her Z1 for $1150. I took the back seat out of my Crown Vic and the Super73 fit in just perfect. She has an S2 and another Z1. I might have to save up for an S2 now.

Oh forgot to mention, when I take the back seat bottom out of the Crown Vic, it fits nicely in the trunk with room to spare. It's even a little easier to get the back seat bottom out than putting the Z1 in, but that's ok.

Nice I have the same bike carrier, but you should lower the tire cross bars, that way you dont ever have any contact with brakes or sprockets.

Nice video, thanks for sharing. I load the back wheel first, but I can see the wisdom in the way you loaded it as to avoid busting out the rear window "if" one isn't careful. My friends decided not to buy a super73 because they felt it would take more work to load, but even though the bikes they have may be easier, they have noticed them being less stable and not very safe at a higher speed. Super73 is the best!!!

You can also fit an RX and ZX INSIDE of a midsize SUV which we’ve done but it’s such a pain so we got the 1UP SuperDuty double rack AND… the best part is the ramp add on. It makes it easy to load and unload the bike by yourself 💯

Well done Tristan and Liam! I can confirm that any size Super73 will fit inside Gen 2 Prius and Tesla Model S with the handlebars down on the R series and S2.

My ZX fit on its side into my Volkswagen Tiguan (the older smaller model) if you loosen the handlebars and lower them. That’s insane.
