Temps are fine and my question is whether I should open it again and fix it or is it fine? It's GTX 970 G1 gaming

Why these 5 GPUs are mostly unfixable ? Because I think thes came from repair shop that have already dealt with it, there are several components missing (customers would not be able to desolder components). Maybe the amateur repairman injected too high voltage on random place when finding short and then causing dead GPU cores. Fixing/buying new GPU would roughly the same price of buying whole working Graphics Card second on ebay (not just the GPU chip but whole) but replacing new GPU chip does not mean this GPU is 100% working/fixed, so repairman seeing dead GPU core will often conclude that this is unfixable, at least economically.

I work with product development and not repair, even though I do that too sometimes, and it would have cost a small fortune to have me go through 5 junkyard cards like that. I hope you charged that customer through the roof. 🤣

No i did not. Who ever worked on this board before, soldered bios chip there. Those pads are NOT for the bios chip at all. Bios chip is at the top. Pads were shorted on the PCB, i just exposed the mask under and they joined. It didnt matter, core was dead on that board anyway.
