Wondrous Wisdomball is a ridiculous Quest reward which can get you an absolutely crazy board. In my case, I kept on getting Kalecgos. I could've gotten maybe 10 golden versions if I only had board space...

I'm convinced minions offered from wisdomball refreshes, aren't minions considered removed from the pool when bought, because Kaly continued to show up not just in tavern but triple discoveries throughout the rest of the game, when technically there is only 7 kaly's, he easily had like 12 on the board and was still discovering them, what a high roll.

Jeef was offered 22 Kalecgos through either rewards or the shop in this game, 1 of which he turned golden with Golden Touch, meaning if he had 8 board slots, he could have had 8 golden Kalecgeese on his board...

After watching this game, I made an observation that certain minions are not in the game, almost like they are turned off. The kalygos having more than 7 made sense to me because of helpful refresh. But watching you make 100s of refreshes and not one dragon with the +2 +1 buff or one jazzer/prickly, is that just how the game is designed? I find certain games I'll have a comp only to never find the one unit I need like I'll triple to a wolf with a beast comp and never find the slamma and some minions are in major excess and it's almost like the game knows the lane I'm supp9sed to take based off prevalence of minions.

If the program is designed to give as close to perfectly random results as possible, what you are describing is perfectly plausible. Yes, it is insane for no minions of a certain type to show up, and a ton from another, despite there being equal amounts of both, or less of the ones that show up often. Perfect randomization is... random. There is no rhyme or reason to it, and you don't get perfect representation of each possible variable in samples as small as a single game of Battlegrounds. As odd as it sounds, the complete insanity of some games where you get covered in the same minion over and over, and other games where it just never happens, is proof that their randomization is *good*.

A beautiful demonstration of algorithms in HS, where one player, playing elementals, cannot find a single Tavern Tempest or sell elemental the entire game. Another player has these. And why did he discover Kalecgos with 7+ on the board when there are only 6 in the pool?

The pool is 7 but wonderball creates copies, well for some of its effects. It's like...I forgot his name, the one copying the minion left of him, he can do that beyond the cap. But if it's something that creates minions, then it's still limited.

@DexTag I don't know about a ball, but in previous patches, all abilities that created copies of cards like Tess's also copied and pulled cards from the pool if there were any.

@@Xim04 That's...not true. Wisdom Ball always copied (with most of it's mechanic) which is an old quest reward and not new. Upbeat Duo could create infinite amounts. Mechs used to be limited when put on minions and then got changed to allow endless copies as magnetics. Sea Witch Zarjira was able (and I assume still is) to get way more copies since she copies a minion in the actual shop. You could take this further by already being over the limit, switching a minion into the shop and getting even more copies. Sanders completely broke this because it turns minions Golden without taking them out of the pool. Faceless (a minion that selects another unit and copies it) could also select any unit, no matter what the pool limit is. Again, the difference is copying and generating. Generating has always been limited (and was only changed for magnetics), while copying was always unlimited.

Normally you should be able to only get hold of 7 caligos at max. Even discovering an 8th copy or stealing from the opponent shouldnt work. Maybe you can trick the game by goldening the caligos in the shop for effectively 9 caligos. Thats why jeef was so confused why they shoves every single caligos in existence in his face!
