That looks like a 1990 model. I raced a 1990 CR250 back in the day. Was a great bike! I agree, the new gas can nozzles are stupid.

Thanks for saving this historical bike. Not many left like this. And this bikes only going up in value. This bike was called the bone breaker in the 90s.

I love you started a channel! Bike rebuilds are my favorite and love that is 1-2 videos per bike instead of 20 videos like other creators. Each video is like “clutch lever install”, next video we’ll do footpegs 😂

Your Can I make it run and drive it back home videos are honestly some of the most enjoyable stuff on youtube. I imagine they can sometimes be rather painful to make but boy, if that's not something amazing to watch and relate to! Really diggin this channel (more than the other one)

Occasionally, on Facebook marketplace, I see these old bikes for sale. It makes me think about what you guys do and how fun it would be. And then reality hits and I remember I have an 06 road king sitting in the garage covered with my daughters toys.

My Dad had one of these beauty. Of course he broke is coccyx while showing off in front of his friends. First and last time I saw him fell of a bike. This bike would humble any rider, experienced ones even. Love what you're doing guys!

I raced a Air Cooled 1984 CR500 and then bought a 1991 and I loved both of them. The 1985 CR500 was a beast and they were detuned from then on.

Used to have a cr440 my absolute favorite bike. Since then moved onto bigger things like my rocket3, but I'm always on the lookout for the old Honda dirt bikes.

Craig, ship that thing up to Ken Kaplan at Kaplan Cycles in CT, and just sell it to them. Kaplan specializes in restoring CR’s better than anyone else, especially 500’s!
