I wish Honda released this bike in the US. As a kid in the 70s, the coolest thing to have was a mini-bike.

I remember being back in my hometown 9yrs ago...(Houma/Bayou Cane,Louisiana) I had just brought my '74 MX175A back from Richmond and was riding that down the old Valhi trenass. I met a few other guys out riding and they let me have a go on their '89 KDX 250R WHOA.....what a machine It was beat-up but damn that thing was Torque....

I have a question for you. In the spring of 1984,I bought a leftover 1983 CR 480. My bike had a four speed transmission. I have read that the 1983 model had a 5 speed transmission. I also noted where you mentioned it several times in the video. My bike had a blue seat, the 1982 model had a black seat. Have you ever heard of any other 1983 models with the four speed transmission? Did Honda make a mid-production run change?

Hey Craig...i bought a seizedup 1980 kz1000...put oil in all spark plug holes to the top. Waited several months . Periodically trying to kick it over. After a year i took the head off and used a block of wood and hammer...just like you did...and got it free...cleaned it up replaced gaskets and rings and it runs geat to this day! Love your videos!

SO I watched Dirty Garage Guy roast Craig and his methods on this video, and though I think I most of his criticisms are overblown, I think he had a pretty valid point about your little spark plug debacle. That gap didn’t close itself. So what really happened there?
