Actual international tournaments (not tinpot crap like the nations leagues) only ever happen on even numbered years in Europe and America (dk about Asia/oceania but they’re basically irrelevant in football minus a rare few players). Copa started 1916 played every 4 years so is always even, wc is the same but from 1930, same for euros but started 1960
