In this video I try and learn G.O.A.T by Polyphia by ear in 20 minutes. I have previously worked out Playing God by Polyphia and so I thoguht I would attempt a similar challenge with G.O.A.T. Let me know what you think!
Looking for some help with the piano?

You're going to blow up if you can maintain this level of videos. Not a lot of people can work out how to play advanced songs, even fewer can do it while explaining in a clear and concise manner for others to learn as well. Keep it up!

I mean you are only learning Tim's intro and Polyphia isn't a person but 4 people.

The 12 harmonics on the guitar are always the octave of the open note so from low to high that’s eadgbe and then the 5 harmonics are another octave up because there actually a quarter wich is a half of the half (the halfway point is always the octave and that implies that half of half is and so on forever but we can’t actually play the theoretical infinite harmonics) then the 7 harmonics are kinda wierd idk why they are the notes they are I just know there like the open notes shifted down with the low E and the B strings being different because of how it’s tuned and because the top string is the top string but what I mean by that is if u play low E harmonic on the 5 and the A harmonic on the 7 your playing an octave of E and if your playing the A string harmonic on the 5 and the 7 harmonic on the D then your playing an octave of A this pattern is true of all the notes besides the B on the 7 and low E on the 7 like I said I think the the B harmonic on the 7 is one semitone up from g rather than being its octave but it could be the other way all my knowledge is through my own experience messing around and thinking about the physics of harmonics but hope this helps if u try and transpose any more harmonic heavy guitar parts

Just for an example of how this might have been useful the fast muted sweap thing he does is the normal start of the decent back the the beginning of the loop with that B octave but instead of playing that he slides up and mutes a little then sweeps down the G D B harmonics on the 12th and I just think if you know all the possible harmonics you’ve pretty dramatically lowered the amount of notes it’s possible for that part to be

Fucking fire bro, well done! I think most people watching this would already know the things said in your dialogue, that you have to work out the bass, then the chords, etc, not that this is bad info but I think it would have been better if you didn't talk over the actual video with it. Personally would have loved to see the 20 minutes straight unedited, that's what would I'd find educational and inspiring. Just a suggestion, loved the video, keep it up!

About a year ago you made a reaction video on a "top 10 hardest piano pieces" compilation. There are many of those top 10 piano videos, yet they all seem to be missing out on some pieces that I (from my hobby pianist perspective) would classify as extremely difficult. For example the fugue from "Prelude and Fugue" by Friedrich Gulda, Opus 26 Movement 4 by Samuel Barber, or the California Jam performances by Keith Emerson, just to name a few of them. Could you please share your opinion on this topic? Keep grovin'!
