안냥! 크집사입니다. 요즘 나나와 저는 종치기 놀이, 악수 놀이를 하면서 사이가 많이 좋아졌어요! 그 다음 단계로는 배고플 때만 먹기, 먹을 수 있는 것만 먹기 놀이를 하려고 하고 있어요. 나나는 거리 생활이 고되었던지 배가 고프지 않을 때도 먹으면 안되는 것을 먹으려하거든요. 얼마 전에는 키친타올을 잔뜩 뜯어먹고 토를 했어요. 개수대의 고춧가루 찌꺼기를 노리기도 하고요. 오늘은 제 볶음밥이 맛있어 보였는지 한 알 훔쳐먹고 말았어요. 더 맛있는게 있다고 알려주고 싶은데 나나 생각은 다르대요. 우리 나나가 집에서의 생활에 잘 적응할 수 있게 응원해주세요! Hey, it’s Claire! NaNa and I are getting along very well these days, and I’ve been teaching her some handy life tips, like how to ring a bell or shake hands (or paws, in her case). Next on the agenda is making sure she only eats when she’s hungry and that she only eats things that are safe for her to eat. You see, NaNa has a tendency to eat even when she’s full, and she’ll even try to eat things that she shouldn’t eat. A while back, she tore into a kitchen towel and started throwing up. She’s tried (on multiple occasions!) to get chili powder from the sink, and today, she made off with some of my fried rice (guess it must have looked delicious!). I think the hardships of her life in the streets have conditioned her to act this way, despite my attempts to show her that there’s tastier and healthier food (like dried pollack!) available. Please cheer on NaNa in her efforts to adjust to a house cat’s lifestyle!

Yes. My heart goes to nana, and all the street cats who had to survive by meal. They probably have gone days without food, for them to develop habit to eat as much as they can when they have food because they might not have them later. That's how street creatures survive in the street. They don't have the privilege to know when their next meal might be. They have to eat as much as they can now, so that they can survive for days in hunger lest they found no food. They develop that habit to survive in the street. Just imagine how hard nana had been living while on her pregnancy bearing dodo and toto in the street, while still being underage mother. She was still under 1 year old when she was bearing dodo and toto, younger than Lulu, and she had to take care of herself, being on pregnancy, and probably being in hunger for days when she found no food. My heart ache for all street cats. It is different life with domestic cats

Exactly! The way she grabbed that pollack with one paw was nothing short of amazing, but it also shows that she grew up with no one handing things to her; she had to take it or she'll starve. I hope she realizes she's safe now.

Nana used to live in the street. They had to struggle for food by meals. That's not only Nana's problem, but most adopted street cats habit. There's another adopted street cat in Japanese cats yt acc also has that problem. That just shown how hard the cats had been living before they were adopted. They probably have been in hunger for days before they get food for them to develop this habit
