idk, it makes me nervous to have a nation that small. i wonder which ideology and allegiances it would have? Natural Resoures is concern. conquest seems almost obligatory if ANY whim happens either from a minor less favorable trade negotiation. just hike the import or export tax, not even a full embargo, you can hold the nation by its metaphorical balls. at least thats how i see how the name of the game is nowadays. you dont need a big military if you could siege them and starve them of resources. militaries need fuel both human fuel (food) and vehicle fuel (gas). and depending on what phase of military procedures its either a lot of fuel or a crazy lot of fuel. id hate to see how much fuel an aircraft carrier runs through. seeing as it NEEDS an escort cuz its a high value target/liability. i doubt any nation would want to lose 2.5 billion bucks from the escort or 2.5 million bucks on a single vessel. also, WHERE would you even put the military bases? is there even enough land to separate the civilian areas and the combat zones. how does water get processed, sourced, drained, treated, flushed, etc. heck, just bomb ANY single water treatment facility and the entire nation will crumble. idk, im just looking at TOO many points of failure due to large needs yet small land. maybe this is why I LOVE AMERICA. political ideology aside, we have 2 great border nations, an awesome river, great land for farming, great coasts for fishing, great supply or natural resources. so that even when international supply is low, at least in THEORY, we dont need to worry about another nation does with their goods.
