Jesse, I'm a 57 year old man still playing this game, and my favorite archetype are the Fabled. I built mine in the past around the battle fader/monarch style, almost all monsters and trying to swarm. I could use some help getting my Master Duel version to be just competitive if possible. I also tend to try and keep decks pure when possible, but get that I would likely have to change that with this.

Loved the video man! One of my favorite decks to play is Elemental Heroes, but im a sucker for nostalgia, so i end up playing pure elemental heroes like Jaiden from GX. it would be cool if you could turn that Meta. either way, keep up the amazing work!

Personally I would love to see you make Modern Archfiends good. Not the chess guys but the ones from like Heiress, Cavalry, Commander, Emperor. Those guys. Unfortunately neither Berserk Archfiend nor the newly released Archfiend's Advent are in Master Duel but it would still be cool to see what you can do with them. On a different note, I think it would be interesting for you to tackle some of the worst archetypes such as Sphinx (thanks to exxod), goblin (thanks to scrounging goblin), malicevorous, super defense robo, umbral horror, guardian.

@@FakeHeroFang they were certainly not winning any chess games, that's for sure. In terms of legacy support you (BIG) could make the white chess Archfiends since there are black and white pieces. But the chess cards as so lackluster that they would. Be tough to make good. Roar is still a solid trap, and terrorking and the 2000 lv 4 guy were used sporadically back in the day. But that's it.

Umbral horror has synergy with yubel as they have like 3 dark/fiends with 0/0 stats. They basically just end up as clunky pseudo-bricks that you can get to with normal yubel combos that give you access to a rank 4 pool using stuff like the sacred beast spell, dark beckoning beast, and grave squirmer's GY effect. Combine that with the Seventh engine for both lore accurate reasons and for an easy 1 card number c104 (which itself card force out up to 3 disruptions going second if your Seventh spells resolve) and you've got a somewhat clunky, much weaker version of a meta deck that's the result of a villainous fusion dance.

It played very well, I like these older decks because they "allow the other to play" so to speak, they are more direct. I almost slept with the opponent doing 5 minute combos, it's really complicated how complicated this has become. Also: I need help with the extra deck, I can't identify some cards (7) '-'

You can still run maxx c especially since you cant guarantee you open with morg. All you have to do is run card destruction to help unbrick your hand/ reduce the lack of synergy. There are a few other maxx c compensators you can run too.

It's not exactly an archetype, but one of my favorite old decks was the Goblin Attack Force type cards with Final Attack Orders and Skill Drain. It's slow, but it was fun to play.
