@@mrscoghillfarmMaryCarl is on a trajectory to bird research be it fully private for herself, a part of some type of research project, or as maybe even as a documenty videographer. We have seen enough of her to see a camera and lense set up that dwarfs her. Please, please, please encourage her to expand her assorted photography and videoing while she is living under the roof of mom and dad, probably has access to your equipment, and your expertise. If she takes the video or creates the slide show then writes the script, she can probably find someone to do the voice over. Skills wise, MaryCarl is probably capable of writing for an assortment of magazines from grocery store magazine rack fare to more technical periodicals. The periodical submission process is a whole learning curve unto itself which I would consider homeschooling assignment worthy. In the print world you dont even need to use your real name.

If Catherine discovers that some of the eggs are infertile as she candles them or weighs them I hope she becomes crafty. They can be blown out. They can be painted on, carved on using a dremal tool, or left their beautiful green color after being shellacked. We would display them on a little stand that consisted of a wood block that my husband cut a hole into. They were very popular.
