I learned, when I tried a similar challenge, that the most important things are: fun, planning, and a realistic assessment of my own skills. I had originally planned on painting some silly amount of Adeptus Mechanicus soldiers in 24 hours, but quickly realised that I would burn out within one or two hours 😅So instead, I decided to build and paint a single, larger miniature within the same time frame. I managed it with 20 minutes to spare, but crucially, never lost motivation. It was a lot of fun!

I think I’d agree with you there! I’m usually much more comfortable working on a single model rather than dealing with such a huge batch. Thanks for sharing your experience! :)

As long as you’re having fun encouraging yourself to create, I think crazily lofty goals can be just fine! Haha! They’re looking pretty awesome thus far!!!

Speed paints are like little Potions of Skill, only they go on the mini rather than down the gullet. I hadn't painted a mini in 20 years, and I just found them so easy to use. You''ve done great! Lots of stuff done (including a video) and a few lessons learned.
