Hello that is awesome. My grand daughter loves to paint and this year in school she has art and it is painting and coloring with oil paints. Oh my goodness she was so excited when we got her school supplies the other day. I think if she could she would paint all day long lol. Great idea and thank you for showing us how to do this. No, I leave them out all the time. Some of the stepping stones are 7 years old in the yard.

@@suburbanhomesteaderwy-az I had no issues w/the sound ~ perhaps because i use headphones? Husband was asleep next to me, so I had my earbuds in =) I heard you perfectly well. Folks may need to adjust their computer's main volume however, in addition to the video volume, as you are soft spoken. Actually, maybe that's the wrong word- you're not a yeller, & have an even, consistent tone of voice ~ How's that?! =)

Just WOW! All those stones are simply stunning! Going to look at your other vid to see how you cast the concrete and the leaves. You're right, why pay so much when nature gives you what you need? I've got some Swiss Chard growing and those leaves are gorgeous.... must attempt! :D

I waited 4 days before I put my sealer over the paint. Some of my paint came off. What did I do wrong?

My husband works with concrete, or I should say used to work with concrete and says yes you can pait it but only with CONCRETE PAINT. Any other paint will peel and chip when it rains.

It would be fun to make stones that looked like the precious stones written about in The Bible. Isaiah 54 11-12 11. O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires. 12. And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.
