The proper cleaning is done by isopropyl alcohol and not water, after cleaning with water the metal parts will start to ger rusty by the time.

I think, you're doing wrong when you attach the display panel in a phone. You needed to check the panel first. Otherwise, warranty will be broken.

I would say 80 percent of the parts are new and therefore not worth repairing. But if the phone's memory contains important data, then it's a different story. Important data that is worth more than the cost of repairing the phone.
