I do love the story of the “disco Yeti” on Everest. That animatronic broke down shortly after the ride opened and they never fixed it because it would be too intricate of a process. So now they just flash a strobe light on it 😂

My boyfriend and I went to Epcot, he wanted to go to Animal Kingdom to ride Everest, at the time it was a brand new ride and the park closed early. We got to the bus and got almost there when they informed us that Everest was already closed for the day. So, we got off that bus and back on the Epcot bus! Never did get to go to Animal Kingdom...😢

Lost in the comment section - he did this on a busy holiday week, without Lightning Lane, with a massive backtrack to Animal Kingdom. Although, I would have probably started with Everest since animal kingdom usually opens first, then hit the cosmic rewind virtual queue
