This mod is crazy. The way they implemented a subtle form of magic with sorcery (for the few characters that can use it), the numenorian blood mechanics, the palantirs (which cause stress if you're human) and the sheer amount of unique artefacts from the lore is insane. The witch king even has the skull of the last king of Arnor as a trophy. Also love that morality is a big thing in this mod. I haven't seen it in the same way in any other iteration of the game. There are good characters like Aragorn and Theoden, bad characters like Sauron, but also grey characters. Denethor will protect smaller realms and ask for nothing in return, but at the same time there is an almost-hidden mechanic where he can reject Aragorn's claim and cause a civil war. Saruman does monstrous things but he's a reasonable liege and he generally listens to petitions and won't abuse his power or try to murder you if you're his vassal and you follow his religion or have religious protection (which I think is pretty accurate). They put a lot of love into this.

You can beat the Balrog if you have a massive amount of learning. The percentage of chance has to be like above 95% to beat it.

Feels a bit silly to even give it a percentage chance if it has to be 95% to win. I did test this out too and I lost every time so I know you’re not lying. Just a little annoying but I think it’s funny so idc.

From how it is described, I'm not sure it is a Balrog, it is described as being wreathed in shadow, but doesn't have any mention of flames, which Balrog's, from what I have seen, are always described with, as well as I think Durin's bane is supposed to be like the last Balrog that survived and went into hiding, I think this could potentially be one of the Nameless things that are mentioned to live very deep underground.

Why do most troops have normal stats and then berserkers have stats that look like they must have been a mistake?

Because they have high stats but low numbers (for gameplay variety I assume)
