I think your PC suffers more than you whenever the zombie pop goes even to just x4 pop.

Dodging slow zombies is the easiest thing to do in this game. It's not exactly skillful. It's actually easier to dodge zombies on high pop cause of the low fps. Low fps makes you less likely to get grabbed when running through a horde.

Shooting at zombies to get them away from POIs usually doesn't always work for me. Especially when it comes to shotguns. This video does make me want to do the Horde Night challenge at High Population areas now though (considering that for the Muldraugh Police Station).
