I'm pushing 600 hours in Kenshi. every time I play I get like 1 week into it and get that urge to make a whole new squad with completely different goals. everything from starting with no limbs to conquering the world with 1 guy

I wish it wasn't Japanese themed and more strictly medieval, including Japanese. I find the weapons kind of boring and sparse. Yeah, you can mod it. But I'm not impressed with the mod selection for weapons.

It certainly makes ranged combat way more important. One good swing with a good sword and your character might just straight up instantly die.

The one setting I am scared of touching is the nest option. You can't walk anywhere without stumbling into a pack of wolves or a bandit camp.

I always play in max nests. The game feels empty for some reason. I never see bandits enough. Maybe my leviathan killer build is scaring everyone.

I tried to increase that. Holy farms are quickly massacred by bone dogs and even cities struggled to fight them back. I had to hide in shops cause streets were overwhelmed by wolves. It was fun

When I first started as a wanderer I didn’t know what to do so I explored tried to mine ore and got attacked by bandits got hurt, ran and bar mercenaries helped me kill them all looted bandits bodies after and made few thousand Cs, brought bandages to heal then got to sleep on the bar beds and exploring again. Great game 😂

It litteraly is unfair. Imagine an average hunter, drifter, anyway who meets the naked guys with a stick so rusty, it seems it will fall apart because how rusty it is. The man has no armor, he is naked, but you - you have nice katana, iron sheet armor, so you decide to kill this poor creature. But how surprised you are, when just a weak punch or that stick shreds one of your arms into pieces, then the same thing happens to lower half of your ribs, shredding almost everything in your body. Adrenaline hits the head, you try to cut that bastard, but because of pain your swing hits nothing, And then, your leg litteraly explodes after another swing of that naked abomination, you fall down. The last thing you see - his feet, rapidly moving to your head. And then - nothing. Your body looks worse, then after that fight with blood spiders, the only thing that identifies you - is a tatoo of Okran on your butt and "wanted" lists with your infos: "Brother Dimitrius. Heretic. Has a tatoo of our God and savior, Sunface Okran"
