Looking at the part of the video where you guys were super low on food, and there were dead animals on the map, I highly recommend the mod Allow Dead Animals. It makes it so that when animals die on the map (like if a predator kills them), the corpse is automatically allowed, so your colonists can butcher it. Otherwise you have to scan the map all the time for animals the base game forbids, for some reason. This really is a handy mod in general, but especially for challenges like this, where you need to eat meat, but can't do any normal hunting.

I checked out the multiplayer mod, it was very strange to see. Obviously, it's not real multiplayer, and I can only interact with your pawns if you are offline, cuz the AI takes control of them and makes them patrol your base, and this is only if I try to attack you. I cannot visit you at all, but I can drop-pod you resources. Weirdest part is, no lag. There's like 0 performance issues even on the world-view. If I tried it out for longer, I'd have checked to see if people can detect who's podding 100 toxic waste packs through their roof, but sadly, I didn't stay for long.

I currently have a save with 70 colonists and 200-300 of animals (mostly boomalopes and horses) and 2x is the max runable speed for me now. You had mentioned early in the stream a bit about performance.

im running a colony with ~50 colonist with a bunch of animals (probably around 50 as well mixed), with my potatoe PC, the only lag I get is from tribal raids at 100% threat level. so because veequeue always play 500% threat level, Im guessing 30 colonist would be enough to make those tribal raids so large for the lag to become absolutely unbearable for him

Btw, Twitch does allow you to view a past broadcast while the stream is still ongoing, but I believe it's a setting you need to enable

Because neither of those work the same as a CPU, RAM is just a cache and a GPU is built for handling graphical number crunching of which Rim World barely uses.

0.570.21 random randy does a scan of total wealth every 36 tics 5 days depending on the difficulty they get set ammount! but the thing with randy! "it is never too much" so random randy 500 is ultra easy mode! unlimmited ressources!! so every time people claim they are hardcore! its just because they get slapped in the face with resources at randy random! so stupid! randy random is the esiest playtrhough even more so at 500 if they truly want to play on hard mode they do random rand 0.1 percent! i bet you none of them fuckers can make a colony like that because they would die from having no enemies!
