been ordering from DH since 07 and never had any problems at all, made over 500 orders some pretty large, you will not have any problems if you read reviews and feedback, if ordering big order small first to check stock is ok, message the seller first!! ask questions about authenticity/quality, etc, not all page pictures are the items you are buying ask them for the exact item you are purchasing picture, if your impatient like me only order sellers that send free epacket or EMS as china-UK arrives in roughly 7-9 days far better than china post that can take a month.

No you cannot tust DHgate as they have terrible customer service in the case of a problem. They make it very difficult for you to return products even when the seller is clearly at fault. They are extremely seller focused and unable to assess a transaction/situation on its individual merit providing generic, irrelevant responses and no solution to the problem. They allow and make it easy for rogue sellers to operate.

I ordered a $14.00 Hoodie on DHgate and I waited two weeks for it to arrive and they wrote my address incorrectly on the package and I had to call my mail carrier to sort it out and the next day after fixing the address, I got my package and apparently it felt empty and they had my name and address COMPLETELY wrong, ( The address looked like they got lazy when they were printing it on my package ) so I opened it up and it was just a green straw... so I HIGHLY recommend NOT to buy from this site again! 😒🤚 To be safe, every time you go on an site to buy an item, please make sure to look at reviews and it’s feedbacks! I’ve ordered so many things from DHgate and have never had any problems! Check customer reviews and ratings. I don’t buy from a seller unless they have a 90% or up customer rating. The only downfall is it takes up to a month to ship to your house.!

I was looking for seeds online and dropped into DHGate site. The price for seeds is reasonable but majority of them arrived without planning and preparing instructions or instructions in Chinese. Depends on what products you are buying, do not trust DHGate site. Do your own research first! I had order never showed up my door, but I can not get credit back because it was not tractable. Oh, well. I do love the rare to find flowers/fruit on the site. I am not able to plant my seeds yet because I have no instruction.

The problem isn't just the sellers because we know that buying anything super cheap from china is a risk, the problem is Dhgates system. If you want to cancel an order before the seller ships your item good luck with that. You'll have to file a dispute for a refund BUT the seller has to AGREE to the refund. If the seller does not agree, you're shit out of luck. Dhgate will tell you that they can not step in within 5 days so to keep messaging the seller to convince them to agree to the refund which they won't do if they didn't the first time OBVIOUSLY!! & GUESS WHAT? Within those 5 days before Dhgate can step in the seller can shipped the order anyway and since its been shipped you'll have to wait a week to request a 'return and refund' which you'll have to return the item with your own money to possibly receive a refund. A lot of the time you'll only receive partial refund. If you don't plan on buying much you'll be less at risk, give it a try....I guess. Drop Shippers, STAY AWAY! Unless you want a play russian roulette.

I read people saying they never had a problem with dhgate after x amount of orders. Those people clearly haven't been ordering for that long. Every single wholesale site has problems, that's just the reality. Even if the seller is reliable with a good percentage doesn't mean they are prefect. I myself speaking for experience an ordering over 100's of items from it have had a few problems. Not all were resolved cause their customer service is not good compared to say AliExpress. It's extremely hard to get a full refund unless you understand what you are doing. This is just my experience. I don't think there's a perfect site out there to begin with so when people speak in absolutes they are either inexperienced or have ordered little items from these sites.

+IgnisKipa Because Alibaba has Chinese suppliers listing prices often based on you buying 1000 so at first glance the prices are very good, it doesn't mean you won't end up with a load of un sellable tat, or that anything will arrive at all, or that you can afford to buy 1000 of just one item, the price is just the tip of the iceberg.

why wouldn't DH Gate offer PayPal as a payment option? Yes, they would take a small cut but it would give buyers some confidence with PayPal's buyer protection plan.

Because of dhgate's internal 3rd party hold, where the seller is only paid afterwards, PayPal was not a viable option. I have worked with them for 6 years, with only two failed orders, and only once did I lose a partial payment.

I had a TERRIBLE experience with DHgate. Not only I overpaid one item, but it arrived to me with multiple breakages. At my complaint, and after I investigated (the DHgate is a platform that mediate among suppliers and consumers) it took 4-8 weeks to address the problem. Their refund was exactly 15.77% of what I paid. They kept everything else, in spite of the hours fo time I spent chasing them. As DHgate interface concern, I'm very versatile with any web interfaces BUT I found the DHgate one TERRIBLE. The chatting service, finally after 4-5 times I was trying, I succeeded to have somebody but they could not help me. Overall, as far as concern the software platform, the DHgate is awful with respect both the interfaces in the United States and in the European countries.
