You are one of my favorite artists to watch, for many reasons. A. You create your own characters. B. You use the low budget, ‘what have I got on hand that I can repurpose’ ethic. C. You show your mistakes and discuss them, and fix them. D. You keep working at it until you are happy with the results. E. I am learning things from you I haven’t learned from other artists. What I do know as I am starting this artistic journey, is that, in spite of years learning from costumers, I am not a good seamstress. I do know a little about pattern making, not that I am proficient at it. The part where you look at your handiwork and say you are not smart because you sewed it backwards? Yeah, have done that at least a dozen times, on my own clothes. Which I did rip out and re sew. Very much relate! If I can offer a little advice? Dollightful makes her own patterns and in some of her videos she explains how. While she is scary good at what she does, most of that comes from practice. The important part is she knows a few basics on how fabric wraps around the body and that is not as hard as it looks. Using a few patterns can go a long way towards teaching you how to make your own, with results you will feel better about. My major concern here is how you talk to yourself and you are too hard on yourself, your final product is always amazing, and I love how you work things out. Learning a few pattern making tricks will make you feel like you have mastered a magic spell yourself and I would love to see you feel that! His name could be Specter,though someone could come up with something better. I am looking forward to your future cast of characters! ❤

I too have done the wrong sleeve direction thing. I hid mine with a small ribbon over the seam as well Sleeves are hard!and made it a design choice 😂

That's a really interesting idea, I think what's tough about doing that is that it's easier to fit a smaller head on a larger body than it was made for than the other way around. But if I found the right dolls it might work

@@randeerepaints3403 i can confirm that male monster high heads(and probably by extent male eah heads) can fit decently well on wild hearts crew bodies because whc has thicker necks, so somewhat thicker necked 1/6 scale dolls should work

i didn't really know how hybrids work, so at first i was convinced that you'll cut out parts of spectra's face, so it will look like a mask with bts face peaking through the holes. i feel like it'd be a great idea? i did absolutely love that gothic mage guy you've ended up making though, and i loved how you laugh at your own doll's harassment 🪦

I have learned that if I stick with it, and trust the process, I always manage to turn things around, and have even created some of my favourite pieces that way. It is by making 'mistakes' that we evolve our creativity.... all part of the process. 😊

I'm thinking his name and character/powers could be related to things like: the moon, silver as a form of metal and (potentially) ancient nature magic, the void due to his eyes, and divination/seer abilities. I can see him manipulating silver itself into a liquid form; either for attacks, magick, and healing capabilities (Like japanese Gintsugi where you mend broken things back together with sterling silver. Kintsugi- sealing with gold- is more commonly known nowdays.) Names that pop up are: Nexus, Polaris, Sterling, Ebon, Jet, Abyss. Have fun!~~ 💜💙💙💙💜🐙🐙

The Spectra's neck hole was too small to fit on the body and I've found that using a different neck hole entirely is the best way to maintain head mobility rather than just trying to widen out the original 🙏🏻
