6:30. It's not the fluids I think. It's the lack of electrolytes in your fluid. Under those warm conditions you really need to keep replenishing your electrolytes to keep feeling well. I just did a multi day race where my teammate was also not feeling well on the second day, after drinking only water. So we filled him up on sports drink with electrolytes and within an hour he was feeling well again. So next trip considering carrying sports drink powder or tablets, or alternatively bring electrolyte tablets

Because you mentioned your beginner unicycle course: in 1987 we stayed at a camping site and there was a unicycle that caught my attention. I got on and fell off, and got back up again and fell off again... For about 2 hours, until I finally managed to tear the ligaments in my right foot. And that was that... Which brings me to commenting on you complaining about riding in the wind. I ride a velomobile, a fully faired recumbent trike. With head or tail wind you barely notice the wind at all, but with side wind you might swerve a bit on the road, or if a lorry is overtaking you, you may encounter a sudden displacement when the wind catches you again. It all has its upsides and downsides. Always looking forward to your content, especially the unicycle content. 👍

@@EdPratt I think that's the best way to go, but that must be an assload of material to check and sort once starting production....... And I assume you gather terrabytes of material on your way. Every shot in 4K I guess. For fun I'd like to know, what is the highest bitrate that any of your cameras records? In my case, my trusty old Panasonic GH4 records at 90mbit/s. The thing is 10 years old but still produces flawless motion picture. Recording usable stuff with my phone would be a stretch though, my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is another old but very usable device, which is even modern enough to record in h.265 - but 25mbit/s in 4K already contains quite the perceivable compression.........

Supposedly many times, which is a big reason why he doesn't make that much of distance. I assume half of the entire time he's out he is busy with some aspect of doing something for the videos. I have produced such videos too in the past, and it easily burns away the time. Especially when he does drone shots, imagine that. For a few nice seconds, you need to unpack all that stuff, set up the drone, fly around a couple minutes, extract the footage, get it all back together and pack it back into the bags. I believe, each drone shot would at least take 15 to 30 minutes to make. An addition to that is managing your power. Drones can only fly so long on a battery and recharging them is a tricky process, since you need to stay at the power source for many hours when recharging.

@@ManWalksDogs Your reply sounds like I was complaining about anything. I was certainly not. =) Just explaining how things go on such trips, when you want to produce appealing videos. The more stops with more views to be recorded, the better. Making a lot of distance means nothing, when the experiences along the way didn't get captured.

without fail someone asks this under every video of his, typically as they have an issue with it; it's his body, he can refuel how he sees fit and he's under no obligation to expressly put a label on his diet or a draw a hard & fast line in the sand from which he can never step over, hence why he never responds to these 'questions'/criticisms.

They more or less get the jist, they just don't get the context/cultural norms. Like the woman in Topp knew he wanted water, she just didn't realise he'd want it from the tap as most Latvians drink bottled or filtered due to it being hard-water. Not 100% as it was quite low volume, but the dude in the village either said "come on" in russian like he was gonna show him where the water was or " I don't need" in Latvian thinking Ed was offering him a drink.

Its really bad for your vocal cords and it doesnt sound good either. Just use your normal voice, which is a good clean sounding and perfect for narrating instead of the Joe Cocker-i-smoke-cigar-and-drink-whiskey-voice you try to use!
