Can I Walk 10 Mile from Barnstaple Devon Without Using ANY Road NO ROADS EXTREME EP3

Can I travel (a minimum) 10 miles from Barnstaple, Devon without even setting foot on a road? The first step on tarmac here which turns out to be an abandoned Go-Cart track (not a road) but by this stage I was a sliced up wreck after an undergrowth mauling. Travelling light & dressed for summer river wading seemed a bad idea at this stage but with many miles of challenges ahead surely things would eventually turn in my favor.
Looking at the entrance to Bradiford Water it looks like tidal water is limited by gates but possibly enters via small amounts of seepage, which would explain the sinking mud. (In EP4 I've done everything I can to avoid the danger of the video being taken down).

That is well off the beaten track... a pity you did not have some covering for your legs... but I have put myself through similar things in the past. Thank you for the upload.

Some interesting mudflats too... it proves there are many hidden gems in the UK.

The obvious question: if you know you're gonna be bushwhacking, why not wear long pants and gloves?
