Yes. Every time I have been on the BC campus you could just walk on the field. The gates are always open.

Wisconsin plays men’s hockey in the same arena as men’s and women’s basketball. Women’s hockey has their own arena though

Yeah it’s definitely a bit big for hockey now lol but it used to be rocking in the early 2000s and would fill up nicely pretty consistently

Yeah a bit big now but they're still averaging over 10k fans per home game while the program is down. Which is still 2nd best in college hockey only behind North Dakota In the 2000s they were averaging 13-15k per game so they can definitely pack the arena when the team is consistently good
