The funny thing is that I accidentally got this achievement while playing Bulgaria. I asked Germany for polish lands while pushing the Soviet union. I had a shortage of 500k and 50k+ guns and I had reached the Urals and for some reason my collabs weren't triggering. Then the Polish rose up and the Soviets capped. Then I defeated the polish later.

Yeah I think I originally got the achievement a similar way but wanted to see if it was possible to do historical as Poland and survive

The achievement was gained for having Poland revolt from your occupied land, not from actually breaking free as them.

First and only time I did the warsaw uprising, I accidentally made my entire core territory rise up, including the soviet lands (which by that time were german), so it was more of a poland uprizing then a warsaw one

Didn't realize currently built people thought it was impossible that's when I got the achievement. It's much easier if you go with the king of exiles path and start building agency early so you can do the resistance missions right away. It's better to cap to Germany early so you have time to do so before the Soviets cap them

@@maintiax erh.. the elgitimacy only gives you a trickle of manpower and equipment, unlikely to be a good return on investment with the losses you had to encur in the initial fighting. the polish exile focus gives you a baseline 700 mp/wk, with the advisor you get an additional 700 for a total of 1400 weekly manpower (~5600/month, ~61.6 k/year) going for Karl Albrecht I (The Habsburg) and doing the resistance focus gives him on top of that +5% attack and defence on cores for all units, which does help when stacked with the +20% from the long push home

Nah cuz soviet states in Poland aren’t just controlled, but fully annexed. That means the ussr would automatically have it back the instant it secedes

Sadly uprising was lost bcs of soviets they stop the ENTIRE Vistula offensive and didnt allow allies to land on their territory just to watch us defeat and capitulate and after that push to secure polish lands to soviet sphere
